So it has been a ridiculously long time since I've written anything. Things have just been so crazy! Work has been very busy and the planning for moving has been quite intense. We've had lots of things happen that I need to update everyone one.
Mikey and I had an engagement party on August 29th at Bellevue Golf Course. It was SO much fun. My dad's mom and step-dad even made it out which was great since I haven't seen them since Christmas and about 7 years since then. Mikey got to meet the rest of my family and I got to meet a couple of his friends that I hadn't me before which was really great for both of us. My aunt, who I really look up to, texted me on her way home to tell me how great she thought he was which really meant a lot to me. It was really nice to get everyone together to celebrate our engagement :)
I also talked with my bosses about wanting to stay with the company when I move to AZ. They were in a bit of shock but definitely made me feel good as they let me know that think I'm doing an amazing job and would really hate to lose me. I REALLY want to keep this job, I love my job and enjoy doing it so it would be nice if I could continue and expand my position when we go.
Speaking of moving IT IS OFFICIAL!!!! We are leaving Seattle on October 1st and driving down to AZ!! We are both so freaking excited. My dad has been awesome and we are going to be staying in his condo which is be perfect. We were a bid concerned at first, mostly because of location since it is in east Mesa but after thinking about it we decided it is a great place to start. We are also wanting to get a dog eventually when we are down there, something small and cute :) We were watching I Love You Man and feel in love with the puggle in the movie. Check out this link:
