WOW

So I made this huge list of all the things that I could make for my wedding to help keep the cost down. Holy crap when will I ever have the time to do all of these haha.

Good thing I was in a sorority and being creative is kind of a must haha. Oh the good old days of making pillows and paddles, what fun :)

I've got to make announcements, initiations and everything that goes in with that, favors, table centerpieces, decorations, and a bijillion other things. But anyone who knows me, knows I love to do that kind of stuff so I'm excited.

So much goes into a wedding. I have TONS of time to plan so I'm really not worried at all. I'm kind of creating like a wish list of lots of options and then when it really comes down to planning time I'll be prepared. I've been looking at venues, wow so many beautiful places!

I'm so excited for everything! We had to take the ring back to get resized, apparently my already tiny fingers got even tinier, and got it back yesterday. It fits amazing! And they made it all pretty and shiny! SO PRETTY!

I'm still getting used to calling him my fiance, it's just different. Never called anyone that before :) He's on vacation this weekend so we are going to talk about a bunch of things. We have a pretty big decision, other than wedding stuff, coming up so it will be a weekend of talking about that decision and of doing nothing haha...RELAXING! :) And I think the beach!

When I left AZ the one thing I said I really wanted to do when I got home was to go to the beach and sadly the first time I went was last weekend with my younger brother and sister. It wasn't quite as nice a I would have liked out so we didn't stay long. I guess it isn't as cool as I remember, although being able to be outside in July is quite nice. No 110 degree weather!

First Day

So...I've never actually kept a blog before. I mean not for anything except for class. Although I used to love writing in journals when I was a kid...so I guess this is basically the same idea...I'm mostly starting this because I just got engaged and I figured this would be a great way for me to keep my friends up to date on all the fun and a great place for me to organize my ideas.

So yes it is true...I got engaged. It was AMAZING!!!! I got home from work last Wednesday, July 15th, and Mikey told me he wanted to go out to dinner as he'd been stuck in the house all day. So of course I said yes. It was SUCH a nice day out so we went and parking at the park in downtown Bellevue and walked through to get to dinner. Well we were taking out time walking, stopped and sat on a bench and talked, took pictures for some family, stopped along the trail to talk. I kept wondering why we kept talking, I was hungry and just wanted some dinner.

Well the third time we stopped Mikey told me how much he loved me and then got down on one knee. Honestly I can't really tell you what he said, I was in shock and was so excited. Of course I said yes and we hugged and I shook and cried...lol. It was INCREDIBLE!

I talked to his mom a bit afterwards and just said "Yes" to like everything she said because I still was in shock...sorry mom lol :)

Well I guess that puts us where we are now. We are SO excited! The wedding will be in Seattle in the spring of 2011. So lots of time to plan the most amazing wedding ever!!!!

And I'm pretty sure we've decided on the colors. Classic Black and White for the bf with accents of light pink for me :) I know I have SO much time but I can't stop looking online for ideas, venues, dresses, everything! Anways...that's it for now but feel free to let me know if you have any ideas :)
