So...I've never actually kept a blog before. I mean not for anything except for class. Although I used to love writing in journals when I was a kid...so I guess this is basically the same idea...I'm mostly starting this because I just got engaged and I figured this would be a great way for me to keep my friends up to date on all the fun and a great place for me to organize my ideas.
So yes it is true...I got engaged. It was AMAZING!!!! I got home from work last Wednesday, July 15th, and Mikey told me he wanted to go out to dinner as he'd been stuck in the house all day. So of course I said yes. It was SUCH a nice day out so we went and parking at the park in downtown Bellevue and walked through to get to dinner. Well we were taking out time walking, stopped and sat on a bench and talked, took pictures for some family, stopped along the trail to talk. I kept wondering why we kept talking, I was hungry and just wanted some dinner.
Well the third time we stopped Mikey told me how much he loved me and then got down on one knee. Honestly I can't really tell you what he said, I was in shock and was so excited. Of course I said yes and we hugged and I shook and cried...lol. It was INCREDIBLE!
I talked to his mom a bit afterwards and just said "Yes" to like everything she said because I still was in shock...sorry mom lol :)
Well I guess that puts us where we are now. We are SO excited! The wedding will be in Seattle in the spring of 2011. So lots of time to plan the most amazing wedding ever!!!!
And I'm pretty sure we've decided on the colors. Classic Black and White for the bf with accents of light pink for me :) I know I have SO much time but I can't stop looking online for ideas, venues, dresses, everything! Anways...that's it for now but feel free to let me know if you have any ideas :)

Hello Gini, this is a great idea. Every one blogs about everything. This is the perfect outlet to share the days and weeks events leading up to your wedding date in 2011 with your family and friends. You should consider 7/16/11. It is a saturday and the weather is almost sure to be wonderful. That would be two years and one day to the date of your engagement. We can have an outdoor wedding at a lovely seaside or golf course venue. What ever you want, Gini, it is all about you. :0)
ReplyDeleteOh, you know what I am going to do? I am going to check with my phsyic when I see her next month. She should be able to give me an idea for a date in 2011. You should go and see yours too.
